Project Status: Design stage

A disused late 18th Century Palladian style farmhouse will be restored over an extended period of time in a phased manner. Phase 1 involves the upper floor (piano nobile) being adapted into a 2-bedroom apartment. Phase 2 will involve a conversion of the extensive attic space into an office and snug. Phase 3 will involve refurbishment of part of the downstairs for kitchen and utility spaces in addition to external works.

Across all phases the house will be refurbished in a ‘light-touch’ manner, with minimal intervention. Phase 1 works are focused on a new bathroom in the centre of the plan, new timber sash windows and external door, modern services and sensitive interior repairs to historic mouldings and fittings.
